Love Island fans in tears over ‘shaking’ Finn’s adorable speech to Paige

Love Island viewers were in tears this evening as Finn Tapp asked Paige Turley to be his girlfriend in an adorable speech.

The 20-year-old recruitment consultant plucked up the courage to pop the (well, a) question to singer-songwriter Paige.

After telling the rest of the guys what he was doing, the Islanders all gathered on the upper deck as he pulled Paige for a chat.

He nervously sat down by the fire pit with a bemused Paige as he whipped out his mobile phone

Finn said: "Ever since I returned from Casa Amor I feel like it's gone to a different scale of how happy I am and I know you're happy but you hide it."

Staring down at his phone, he glanced up and said: "I wrote something on the phone because I didn't want to forget…. I'm so f***ing nervous!"

"You're making me nervous!" Paige exclaimed laughing.

"I love your eyes, your lips, your patter's alright," he said, causing her to giggle. "I know that we've had a few tiffs but it's brought us closer together."

"I've never doubted how I felt about you but I was probably doubting how you felt about me," he said before admitting that he was "shaking".

Finn continued: "All I'm thinking about is what's going to happen on the outside… will you be my girlfriend?"

Paige couldn't stop grinning and asked him to repeat the question as they both laughed.

In the Hideaway, Finn said to Paige: "You didn't say yes for a while!"

But tearful fans loved the adorable moment and flocked to Twitter to comment.

One tweeted: "Give them the £50k already #loveisland. Hope he doesn't pull a Jordan."

While another commented: "Fin and Paige to winnnn #loveisland."

A third remarked: "These 2 are so cute together these 2 or luke T and S defo should win love island 2020!!!"
