Is Jim Carrey Dating Anyone in 2020?

We know Jim Carrey best for his iconic roles in movies like The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, and The Truman Show. And now, he’s back in the spotlight as Dr. Robotnik in the new Sonic the Hedgehog. While many didn’t have high hopes for the Sonic film, it’s Carrey who’s stealing the show as the evil mastermind. And it’s making us wonder what’s going on in his personal life, as the funnyman tends to keep to himself.

We know Carrey’s had some seriously turbulent relationships in the past. He’s gone through two failed marriages, and his last public relationship was with his co-star from the hit dramedy, Kidding. So, is Carrey dating anyone in 2020? Or is he flying solo as he soaks in all the Sonic glory? Here’s what we know.

Jim Carrey has a number of failed relationships in his past

Being a superstar in Hollywood often means giving up privacy. And many are familiar with Carrey’s past relationships and failed marriages. People notes Carrey first developed his sense of humor because of his mom’s sickness, and his desperation and depression fed into his interpersonal relationships. While this made him a complex — and often loving — partner, it didn’t help keep his relationships particularly healthy.

Back in 1987, Carrey married his first wife, Melissa Womer. Together, they had a daughter, Jane, who’s now 32. Their marriage lasted seven years, which may be Carrey’s longest-running relationship.

Then, in 1996, Carrey married Lauren Holly after connecting on Dumb and Dumber. Their marriage lasted a mere eight months.

After that, Carrey dated a number of actresses and models. And his relationship with Renée Zellweger showed promise, though they never made it past their brief engagement.

He’s allegedly a ‘hard guy to date’

So, why don’t Carrey’s relationships last? It could be the pressures of Hollywood coupled with incompatibility between him and his partners of choice. But according to a source who’s close to the actor, Carrey can be “a hard guy to date.”

“Jim can run hot and he can run cold,” the source told People after Carrey and Jenny McCarthy split. “He is someone who desperately needs to be with someone, then just as desperately needs to be alone. But at the same time, he can be a very loving, very compassionate guy.”

Carrey has always been open about his depression, and they may have fed into his difficulties with dating as well. “I was on Prozac for a long time,” People reports Carrey told CBS. “It may have helped me out of a jam for a little bit, but people stay on it forever. I had to get off at a certain point because I realized that, you know, everything’s just OK.”

One source who knew Carrey and McCarthy said “depression had nothing at all to do with the breakup,” though. It seems incompatibility was the main issue with this specific romance.

Is he dating anyone currently?

Carrey’s most recent relationship was with Kidding co-star Ginger Gonzaga. The actor told Entertainment Tonight at the time, “I feel very lucky. … She’s not only beautiful, but she’s wickedly, talented and amazing and smart.” But it wasn’t meant to last. While the two seemed crazy about each other (despite their 20-year age gap), they didn’t even make it to a year of dating. Us Weekly reports they started their relationship in January 2019 and called it quits by October 2019.

So, is Carrey dating anyone in 2020? He doesn’t seem to be — and it looks like having a serious relationship may not be his top priority now or in the future, either. We can’t forget that back in 2014, E! News reported that Carrey told Howard Stern that he’s not really looking for marriage ever again.

“I just don’t see it as necessary at this point,” the actor told Stern. But he also mentioned. “I can’t say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off. I can’t make hard fast rules about the future but I wouldn’t voluntarily go that way.”

We’re looking forward to hearing more about Carrey’s movie roles (and possible relationships) in the future!

Hollyoaks fans in tears as Sienna vows to leave for good after Brody lied to the police to get Warren out of jail – The Sun

HOLLYOAKS fans were in tears as Sienna vowed to leave for good after Brody lied to the police to get Warren out of jail.

Sienna is on the run after her ex Warren Fox re-appeared in the village with her twins.

However, Sienna refused to let Warren off the hook for his past crimes and tipped the police off that he was back.

Warren, who was in Mercedes' flat alongside son Joel Dexter, was arrested there and then.

Whilst being interrogated, the police put the case before him: "Sienna Blake has built quite a case against you. Do you remember what you doing on November 8th 2017?

"It was the day after the birth of your twins. The day you fled the country with your daughter. You went on the run straight after police received a call saying you had taken hostage of the claimant – Sienna Blake. False imprisonment, endangering life and then – following the birth of your twins – child abduction."

James Nightingale then interrupted the interrogation – but couldn't get him without a testimony disproving Sienna's.

Joel then begged a desperate Brody to lie to the police, in exchange for help in finding Sienna.

However, after he did this Sienna got in contact with Liberty, who revealed she'd been to the police.

Sienna said: "What did Liberty mean you and Warren – why are you anywhere near that man?"

Brody replied: "He said he knew where you might be, we were looking for you."

But Sienna was furious, and ranted: "You were looking for me with him. You sided with the man who betrayed me.

"The man who stole my babies from me. Who didn't even tell me my own son has leukemia. How could you? Why isn't he in prison? I tipped the police off that he was back, they were going to arrest him."

Brody confessed: "They let him out. I'll come to you and I'll explain… I helped him. I had to, for everyone."

Sienna had heard enough: "Brody how could you be so weak-minded to let Warren get under your skin? I am out here, desperately trying to stay under the radar and I need someone I can trust. And that clearly isn't you.

"You know everything that man has put me through and yet you joined forces with him to hunt me down. Well you can tell your buddy that your search is futile. Because I'm disappearing for good and neither of you are going to find me."

Fans were devastated with Sienna vowing to leave forever, with one person saying: "WELL THAT SURE BACKFIRED ON BRODY TEAMING UP WITH WARREN TO GET TO SIENNA"

Another added: "@Hollyoaks no Sienna 😢💔 #Hollyoaks #Brienna @MissPassey"

A third remarked: "Sienna was so heartbroken when she lost the twins and now Brody has told the police she was lying and making things up. She’s tried so hard to escape that image…"

When is Barrymore: The Body in the Pool on Channel 4? – The Sun

THE life of Michael Barrymore and the night that ruined his career will be examined in a new documentary.

Channel 4 is set to unleash Barrymore: The Body in the Pool as it explores the events leading up to Stuart Lubbock's untimely death.

When is Barrymore: The Body in the Pool on TV?

You can catch this documentary THIS THURSDAY (February 6, 2020).

It will be on Channel 4 at 9pm.

The one-off special will run for 90 minutes.

After it has aired you can watch it on 4 Catch Up.

What happened to Stuart Lubbock?

Stuart Lubbock's body was found in a swimming pool after a party at Michael Barrymore's £2million Essex bungalow in 2001.

The factory supervisor, a dad-of-two from Harlow, was 31 when he died.

The cause of death was found to be drowning.

Barrymore was arrested in 2007 in connection with Mr Lubbock's death, but cops released him without charge three months later.

He had been detained on suspicion of the rape and murder of the man – but always insisted that he was innocent.

His arrest was later ruled unlawful, with a high court judge saying that the arresting cop had no reasonable grounds on which to suspect him.

What will the Barrymore: The Body in the Pool documentary cover?

Nine years on from that fateful night, the documentary explores the full story behind one of Britain’s most high-profile unexplained deaths, as told by the people closest to it.

Eighteen months in the making and with access to never-before-seen material from inside one of Essex Police’s most controversial unsolved cases.

This documentary forensically pieces together the perspectives of the Lubbock family, detectives, forensic pathologists and eyewitnesses, to explore what happened that night at Barrymore’s Essex bungalow and the extraordinary events that followed.

It will delve into our changing tabloid culture, our relationship to celebrity, and our attitudes to homosexuality, but at its heart is the tragic story of a family still searching for the truth.

Terry Lubbock, Stuart’s father, said: "This documentary is about the questions around what happened to my son Stuart Lubbock. Finally.

"The story has become so distorted and confused over the years. So much has been said and written. It's time to put all the facts together in one place."

Where in the world is Ghislaine Maxwell?

Ghislaine — ask not Ghislaine who??? — like there’s lots of Ghislaines skulking around. The Jeffrey Epstein beaut, who maybe might be could be possibly hiding somewhere this side of Uranus and nobody — not a single body — seems to know where she is. That Ghislaine.

She’s dark and murky. Her press baron father Robert’s death — somehow falling somehow off a ship somehow — was also dark and murky.

Here’s a hint — and it’s neither dark nor murky — that somewhere this invisible Ghislaine might be visible. Try Israel. Trust mother, kiddies.

She’s being well protected. And try trying to convince her powerful protectors that Epstein did himself in.

Rudy’s readying his podcast

Come March will come more of Rudy tootie. R. Giuliani is set for a big revelation. He’ll launch his podcast. It’s imminent. Say that most everyone in the galaxy already has a podcast, and his answer to you will be: “This will be different. This is interviews with very high-profile people. You’ll see . . .”

No longer acting like a King

My forever good friend, whom I’ve long loved, whose programs I’ve done, with whom I’ve breakfasted each morning I’m in Beverly Hills, with whom I’ve shared presidential conventions, whose home I’ve been in, who has visited my home, whose assorted wives I’ve known — the very special, one of a kind, supertalented best in our business Larry King — has trashed me.

A defunct Friars membership, once stamped US Prime, has come between us. In 1957, its clubhouse opened. Moses never heard so many one liners. Its lunchroom fed Big Macs into the big mouths of Jackie Gleason, Don Rickles, Damon Runyon, Jack Benny, Eddie Cantor, Jimmy Durante, Ed Sullivan, Bob Hope, Gracie Allen, Alan King, Al Jolson, W.C. Fields, Milton Berle, George Burns, George M. Cohan, Johnny Carson.

A former officer was Frank Sinatra. Recently, Stewie Stone. The 55th Street playground is now a lavatory. Larry’s its current Dean. Managing a club is maybe not his strong point. When big names have gone up and away, even their photos went away. Per p.r.’s Sy Presten: “The bar was named for disc jockey William B. Williams. When he died, it got renamed for Billy Crystal.” Now no room’s left for even living players. The club not only had a flood of money problems, it had an actual flood. It’s shut. And Larry King trashed me for reporting it.

I love Larry and the Friars. My husband was a member. Sorry it has fallen, and executive director Michael Gyure had to plead guilty to tax issues. I wish him good fortune. May he find lasting love with a porcupine. Let us look forward to the club’s next big event. They expect maybe 11 people. It’s a roast for Judy Garland’s uncle.

Right stuff

At a Sunday matinee of “The Play That Goes Wrong,” the show where everything goes wrong onstage, something went right for Jerseyites Joshua Boyer and Alison Bancroft. At the finale, Joshua, invited onstage, bent a knee and proposed. She said yes. We’ll let you know if the marriage “goes wrong!”

Prayer focus

Question: Besides the Brexit exit vex there’s also the prince prance — Like Andy’s glands not sweating, like Harry’s wife not starring — so maybe might Brittannia alter its prayer to “God save the queen’s kids”?

Thursday night a loon jumped down and ran around the subway tracks. A conductor on a downtown B train, cajoling panicked straphangers, said: “Let’s hope this crazy took the same track safety course that I took. He needs it.”

Only in New York, kids, Only in New York.

Kobe Bryant Honored in Emotional Tribute by Lamar Odom

The entire world is still reeling in horror and shock at the sudden, tragic death of Kobe Bryant and eight others, including his young daughter.

Lamar Odom was one of those who knew the NBA legend best, and has written a lengthy, emotional tribute to his dearly departed friend.

Like all of Kobe’s loved ones and fans, his former teammate Lamar Odom is still in shock — and a bit of denial — after his horrifying helicopter crash.

Lamar is looking over his history with Kobe and wrote a tribute to his beloved friend and personal inspiration.

“These picture are just the tip of the iceberg of our relationship,” Lamar begins.

“He taught me so many things in life that were necessary,” he writes, “on and off the court.”

“On the court,” Lamar shares, “he taught me how to carve out defenses and how to take my time.”

“How to make winning my ultimate goal,” he explains.

“Off the court,” Lamar writes, “he taught me to sign my own checks lol.”

It’s hard to laugh about a late friend — or about money management — but Lamar will always be grateful for that important lesson.

“Of course anyone who knows my story knows I’ve suffered a lot of loss,” Lamar acknowledges.

“But the only loss I can compare this to,” he expresses, “is when I lost my son.”

Those are extremely powerful words.

“Even though our relationship wasn’t father/son,” Lamar reflects, “it was more like him being a teacher and me being his brother.”

“I’m glad I got to be the [yin] to your yang as far as the locker room was concerned,” Lamar wrote directly to Kobe. “It was my pleasure.”

“I couldn’t even catch my breath today when I heard this news,” he laments.

“I just knew if he was in a helicopter crash he would have been the one to survive,” Lamar expresses.

“Somehow,” he fantasizes, “he would have jumped out and landed on his feet.”

“I’m sitting here thinking about when we would be in practice scrimmaging,” Lamar writes, “and you would start the jump ball off with elbowing Sasha in the chest.”

“Like dude it’s 10:30 in the morning lol,” he recalls.

“You think watching him play was crazy,” Lamar says, “you gotta think in practice if you scored like 8-9 buckets throughout the practice you had a great practice.”

“I’ve seen him knock off 13-14 in a row in practice!!!!” he exclaims.

“I’m still waiting for the media to come out and say wrong report,” Lamar confesses. “No way God took my brother this early.”

“I know I been through my own stuff in life with using drugs and not being good to myself,” he acknowledges.

“When I went through that Coma situation,” Lamar says, “if God would have came to me and said we would take me and spare Kobe.”

He admits: “I would have rather that happened.”

“In honor of my brother I’m up at 4am tomorrow to get to the gym!” Lamar announces.

He also gives a shout-out to Kobe’s 13-year-old daughter, who also died in the horrific crash, writing: “Gigi gone give you buckets!!!!”

“I love you brother,” Lamar’s post concludes.

As before, our thoughts are with the Bryant family and with the families of the other victims.

Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte in talks to land spin-off series taking over Heinsenberg drug dynasty – The Sun

AFTER Walter White’s death was finally confirmed in one-off special El Camino, fans thought that was the end of Breaking Bad.

But his on-screen son RJ Mitte has other ideas and wants to continue his dad’s drug dynasty with his own spin-off show.

He’s already pitched his idea about becoming the new Heisenberg — the alias Walter used as a meth kingpin — to Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.

Mitte, who like his character Walter Jr has cerebral palsy, believes his tormented character’s issues could turn it another sure-fire hit.

In an exclusive interview, Mitte said: “He is his father’s son in a way of his actions and his moralities of what he’s going to do would be right for his family.

“I think for us it would be a very hard life after what Heisenberg did to his family and I think that stigma would carry.

“But I would like to see Walt Jr. being a gangster.”

More than 25million tuned in to watch El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix last October.

The series had already spawned the prequel Better Call Saul which followed the exploits of lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) before he transforms into alter ego Saul Goodman as he was known in Breaking Bad.

The one-off special El Camino showed what happened after the thrilling final episode of the award-winning series when Walter, played by Bryan Cranston, rescued former protégé and crystal meth cook Jessie Pinkman (Aaron Paul) from the clutches of white supremacists who had held him prisoner.

If the spin-off gets the nod, Netflix will surely have another hit.

WHAT? The Windermere Children, BBC2, 9pm.

WHY? Based on a true story of Jewish children who came to live in the Lake District after the Holocaust. It centres on five boys who don’t know the fate of their families.

Worzel wonder

MACKENZIE Crook has yet another thing to crow about after his remake of Worzel Gummidge was given Sean Pertwee’s blessing.

The BBC and Mackenzie revived the story 30 years after Dr Who actor Jon Pertwee brought the character to life.

His son, Sean, said: “He’d be delighted that people still find it relevant. I thought it was fantastic – good on Mackenzie for breathing life back into the character.”

The Gotham actor said Mackenzie is the best in his field, saying: “What I loved was the green aspect so all power to Mackenzie, he’s a very talented actor and director.” He added: “To go back to the source material, the books, which he did, I think that’s fantastic.”

I reckon the Beeb will give Mackenzie the second series he’s already written.

STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has revealed “there is some truth” that he nearly quit over demands to apologise to Stacey Dooley for joking about her sleeping with partner Kevin Clifton.

Ladies get bald truth

THE politics surrounding women’s hair in their most intimate area is explored in Bring Back The Bush: Where Did Our Pubic Hair Go?

The Channel 4 documentary, which airs Monday night at 10pm, sees host Chidera Eggerue look at why women feel pressured to take razors and waxing strips to their nether regions.

The show also highlights how the trend for being bald down below is now reversing and why it’s probably a healthier way to be.

That includes looking at horror stories – both shocking and funny – from women who’ve suffered through their desire to be smooth.

One unlucky lady revealed how, after waxing to make herself feel more sexy, she got an ingrowing hair that created a cyst in her groin.

She said: “It really grew massive, and when I was wearing my leggings and tight jeans it was hanging out. People thought I had a penis.”

I think it’s fair to say that backfired spectacularly.

TOP Gear host Paddy McGuinness on the old team of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May: “If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be here, because they worked their socks off to get Top Gear to where it is now.”

Sneaky peaky

PEAKY BLINDERS has started work for filming the sixth series of the hit BBC1 drama.
Director Anthony Byrne shared an image of the first episode titled Black Day on Instagram. He wrote: “We are in pre-production on Season 6. More to come. By Order of… .”
Anthony is the first director to not be axed after one season of the show, which stars Cillian Murphy as Tommy and Helen McCrory as Polly.
Teasing about what to expect last year he said: “[Tommy] has to play a long game. He has to show patience and calm, when other people want to react.”
It is what fans ordered…
